Friends, Teachers, Parents and to my fellow Students, A pleasant day to all.

Once there was a single mother, who had a daughter and son. Her husband missing since his children were still in grade school. She had seen the suffering of her family due to poverty so she decided to take a risk and go abroad.

Of course she know it would not be easy for a mom like her to be far from her family since her children were still young, But she pursue it just to give them a better life. At her first month in Arabian Country, she cries almost every day and night for two reasons; She misses her children and she had a hard time learning the custom and culture of Arab and Muslim countries such that she need to convert herself from being a christian to Muslim.

Ladies and gentlemen this is a true story w/c is happening most of the mothers who had to leave their family just to give them a good life. Let's consider the fact that its not easy to find good fortune in a foreign country considering that being an OFW, means, working in a foreign land w/c is sometimes a tragedy for them. Some of their employers are rude and cruel to their helpers. We have heard many stories of OFW's who were abused and treated ill by their employers but still, they are willing to sacrifice to earn for leaving. Here comes their family in the Philippines, they don't mind their situations abroad, They are merely thinking of the money send for them, is that fair? I don't think so....

Let us be more considerate students who have parents working abroad like me, lets take them as an inspirations to be more serious in our studies so that someday we can pay back all the sacrifices and love of our parents that they have given to us. Let as not focus on the comforts money, jewelries, latest model of cellphones, expensive brands of dresses and others, because that will then begone, but education is not. So, while our parents is willing to send us to school, take the opportunity, be successful and be proud.
